Light Sources Dialog

The light source library contains an assortment of light sources, mainly fluorescent and incandescent light bulbs, that can be applied to lighting fixtures. You can add and edit light sources. Light sources are arranged by group in the light source list.

Properties

Scale. The intensity of the light. If the light source is a 60 Watt bulb, a value of 50% would make the bulb function like a 30 Watt bulb.

Color. The color of the light.

Filename. The name of the IES photometric file applied to the currently selected light source.

Adds a group to the light source list.

Adds a new light source to the currently selected group. Once added you need to apply an IES file to it.

Deletes the currently selected light source from the list.

Transfer. Provides access to the Transfer dialog, where you can copy light sources from the current library to the external light source library file, and vice versa.

Load IES file. Lets you select an IES file to apply to the currently selected light source.
