Hyperlinks Dialog

The Hyperlinks dialog lets you create links from an element's properties to web sites or external files. You can create more than one hyperlink if you want. The currently selected hyperlink is marked with a world icon in the left column.

Name. A description of the web site or file you are linking to (e.g. Encore web site).

Links. The web address (e.g. www.encoreusa.com) or path to the file you are linking to. If you are linking to a file, you can click the Browse button to search through the directories on your computer.

Add. Adds a new entry to the list. Once added you can immediately fill out the Name and Links fields for the link you are adding. To move between fields you can use the Tab key on your keyboard, or simply click inside the field you want to edit.  

Delete. Deletes the currently selected hyperlink.

Browse. Click this button if you are linking to an external file instead of a web site. The Open dialog appears, allowing you to search for the file you want to link to.

Open. Launches the currently selected hyperlink. If the link is to a web site, the web site is opened in your web browser. If the link is to an external file, the file opens in its associated editor.
