Dormers Dialog

Dormer Width. The distance from the left side of the dormer to the right side.

Dormer Roof. Click to access the catalog where you can select a roof type for the dormer roof.

Gable Front. Check to create a gable front (regardless of the roof type).

Include Walls. Inserts three walls beneath dormer roof, creating a full dormer.

Dormer Wall. If Include Walls is checked you can click this button to select a wall type from the catalog.

Support height above main roof. The height of the dormer’s front wall, not including the raked portion between the two roof slopes. You can use this option even if you are not inserting walls to control the position of the bottom of the dormer roof. Note that dormer walls extend only to the roof surface.
