View Filter Dialog

This dialog provides precise control over what elements and locations are displayed in a view at any given time. It also lets you make selected elements or locations non-selectable during editing.

Elements on Location tab

The Elements on Location tab lists all elements types that are associated with building locations, including landscape elements that were inserted with the "Insert on Location" option. If you expand an element, a list of building locations is displayed below the element name. If you choose to sort by location, a list of building locations is displayed with a list of elements under each one.

Location or element is turned on

Location or element is turned off

If sorting by element, this means that the element is displayed on some locations and not on others. If sorting by location, it means that some elements on the location are displayed and some are not.

Display All. Turns on all elements and locations on the Building page.

Display None. Turns off all elements and locations on the Building page.

Select All. Makes all building elements on all locations selectable.

Select None. Makes all building elements on all locations non-selectable.

Sort By Element. Displays a list of element types in the filter window. Each element can be expanded to show a list of locations.

Sort By Location. Displays a list of building locations in the filter window. Each location can be expanded to show a list of elements.

Elements on Terrain tab

The Elements on Terrain tab contains a list of exterior landscaping elements, the terrain, and elements associated with the terrain.

Element is turned on

Display All. Turns on all elements on the Landscape page.

Display None. Turns off all elements on the Landscape page.

Select All. Makes all landscape elements selectable.

Select None. Makes all landscape elements non-selectable.

Notation tab

The Notation tab contains text, dimensions, project trace images, and electrical wiring. The drafting, schedules and schedule marks are related to items that can be found in other software applications, and are not applicable in this program.

Display None. Turns off all elements on the Notation page.

Select All. Makes all notation elements selectable.

Select None. Makes all notation elements non-selectable.
