To delete a material from the materials library:
Access the materials library. How to
Select the material in the Material window.
Select Material > Delete Material, or right-click and select Delete Material.
Note: If the material is being used by an element, it cannot be deleted. In this case, a dialog will inform you of this and provide you with the option of viewing a list of elements that use the material.
