You can change the general background color of individual toolbars by changing your workspace options. This applies to both tabbed and free-standing toolbars.
To change the background color of toolbars:
Select Settings > Toolbars.
Click the Color box next to the toolbar you want to change.
In the Color dialog, select or create the desired color, then click OK.
Click OK in the Program Settings dialog.
