Ceiling Framing Dialog

The Ceiling Framing dialog lets you select the type of members used for your ceiling joists, and specify the spacing between joists. The settings you specify determine how the ceiling framing will look when you choose the Display Framing tool. Framing is also included in the project estimate.

Joist Member. The currently selected ceiling joist member.

Select. Click to access the catalog where you can select a different member to use.

Joist Spacing. The lateral distance between joists in the ceiling frame.

Joist Direction. Specify the direction you want the joists to run in degrees of an angle.
