You can attach manufacturer information to an element in the catalog, or in the drawing. You can then view the manufacturer information any time you are viewing the element’s properties.
To attach manufacturer information to an element:
Access the element's properties.
In the properties dialog, select the Quantity tab.
Click the Browse button next the
Manuf: edit box.
In the Manufacturers dialog, select the manufacturer you want to attach to the element. You can add or edit manufacturers if necessary.
Click OK.
Note: Attaching a manufacturer to an element in your drawing applies the information to that particular instance of the element only. Other instances or future insertions of the element are unaffected.
