Applying a Different Color or Material to an Electrical Element

You can use the Materials Paintbrush to apply a different color or material to an electrical element.

To apply a color or material to an electrical element:

1. Display your model in 3D, and make sure the electrical element is visible in the view.

2. Select Edit > Materials Paintbrush, or click the Materials Paintbrush button on any tabbed toolbar.

3. In the catalog panel, select the color or material you want to apply. You can find an assortment of colors in the Paint category.

4. Click on the electrical element. The color or material is applied immediately.

5. Right-click and select Finish.
